Achieve sophistication with simple forms

Efficiency and Flexibility

In laying out office buildings, flexibility is key. The use of simple forms and structural grids makes floor plans easier to lay out and more efficient. Architectural detail can be used to embellish the facades to add a branded sophistication while maintaining a cost effective design.

Create an Identity

It’s common for office projects to be generic and unremarkable, but not with Finley Design. Our experienced team gives each project a distinct identity that reflects your brand or the brand of your tenant – making your commercial office or medical space easily recognizable. For single-tenant projects, this identity reflects the values of the tenant and acts as an extension of their brand.

PRESTON DEVELOPMENT

Preston Development challenged Finley Design to develop a strikingly modern corporate headquarters worthy of the influential real estate developer. We delighted this client with a design that splits the public and private sections of the program into two volumes, divided by the two-story lobby and reception area. Stone, zinc, and storefront articulate the facade and different program elements.

WESTPOINT AT 751

Part of a larger mixed-use master plan, the Westpoint at 751 office building makes the most of its prominent location near The Streets at Southpoint with a welcoming, contemporary aesthetic. The building, designed to comply with LEED standards, features parking on the first floor with two levels of office space above. The three-sided, two-story glass lobby overlooks the adjacent courtyard.

RALEIGH EXECUTIVE JETPORT

Finley Design was engaged to act as Project Designer for the Raleigh Executive Jetport, working in conjunction with the Architect of Record, Sherman Architecture PLLC. The project includes a new airport terminal with a variety of guest amenities, meeting rooms, and an observation deck. The design establishes a new forward-thinking identity for the JetPort as it continues expansion now and into the future. The jetport is the first endeavor into design-build delivery by the NC Department of Transportation.
