After attempts by other developers to rezone the site failed, Halpern Development hired Finley Design to design a community-friendly mixed-use project with a mix of retail shops and townhomes. The final design incorporates conservative design cues with an upscale atmosphere compatible with Friendly Center, with colors and forms acceptable to the active neighbors. With this design in hand, the project achieved approval for rezoning and development.
