AIA Headquarters Competition

This competition entry for the AIA NC Headquarters with LEED design features takes advantage of the prominent downtown location with a dramatic facade facing Peace Street. A wood screen curves around the Wilmington Street side of the site, filtering western light with openings at major gathering spaces. Public gathering spaces surround the western facing courtyard, while offices occupy the northern wing with optimal solar orientation.
